हमारे बारे में

पंचायती राज व्यवस्था (उ० प्र०) में ग्राम पंचायत, क्षेत्र पंचायत, और जिला पंचायत आते हैं। पंचायती राज व्यवस्था आम ग्रामीण जनता की लोकतंत्र में प्रभावी भागीदारी का सशक्त माध्यम है। 73वाँ संविधान संशोधन द्वारा एक सुनियोजित पंचायती राज व्यवस्था स्थापित करने का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया गया है। 73वां संविधान संशोधन अधिनियम के लागू होते ही प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा प्रदेश के पंचायत राज अधिनियमों अर्थात् उ.प्र. पंचायत राज अधिनियम-1947 एवम् उ.प्र. क्षेत्र पंचायत तथा जिला पंचायत अधिनियम-1961 में अपेक्षित संशोधन कर संवैधानिक व्यवस्था को मूर्तरूप दिया गया। राज्य सरकार द्वारा वर्ष 1995 में एक विकेन्द्रीकरण एवं प्रशासनिक सुधार आयोग का गठन किया गया था
